WHAT IS THE DIODE LASER TREATMENT WITH MEDIOSTAR NEXT PRO?
It is an effective method for the permanent removal of unwanted hair. It uses a state-of-the-art diode laser to selectively target hair follicles and destroy them safely, without damaging the surrounding skin.
ARE DEPILATION AND EPILATION THE SAME THING?
Absolutely not! Hair removal and epilation are not the same thing. There hair removal consists in eliminating only the superficial part of the hair, while epilation removes the entire hair from its follicle. With epilation laser, for example, affects the root of the hair also eliminating the bulb, offering an effective solution for folliculitis and ingrown hairs.
HOW DOES THE DIODE LASER TREATMENT WITH MEDIOSTAR NEXT PRO WORK?
Mediostar Next Pro uses a double wavelength of the diode, 810nm and 940nm, to obtain optimal results and which effectively penetrate the skin and being absorbed by the melanin of the hair. The laser energy is then converted into heat, selectively targeting the hair follicles and destroying them safely, without damaging the surrounding skin. This process prevents hair from growing back over time.
IS LASER EPILATION PERMANENT?
Laser Epilation is not 100% definitive. With the high power diode laser you can eliminate so progressively permanent 70% to 95% of hair per area. Be wary of anyone who promises "permanent" results, as they may be offering poor quality. And with the Mediostar Next Pro laser, optimal results in comfort and safety are guaranteed.
CAN IT BE DONE AT ANY TIME?
Choosing the right time to carry out laser hair removal treatment is essential for obtaining optimal results. The hair growth cycle is divided into three phases: Anagen, Catagen and Telogen.
PFor best results, it is advisable to treat during the phaseanagenwhen the hair is metabolically active.
WHEN SHOULD THE TREATMENTS BE CARRIED OUT AND HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE NECESSARY?
The results arrive after a minimum number of sessions which varies according to the type of skin and hair; on average it ranges from a minimum of 6-8 sessions, carried out at least two months apart from each other precisely to respect the protocol that follows the phase of the hair's life cycle.
IS IT EFFECTIVE ON ALL SKIN TYPES?

IS THE LASER TREATMENT PAINFUL?
Mediostar Next Pro is equipped with a special cooling system which guarantees the customer total protection and comfortable treatment. Most people who undertake Laser Epilation say they do not feel any kind of pain, but there are also those who feel a sensation similar to a slight pinch (i.e. when the hair bulb is "hit and sunk"!). However, this depends on your personal tolerance threshold.
