What is Microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique that uses a tool (a pen-like device with micro-needles) to precisely create small scratches on the skin. These scratches are then filled with color pigments (of mineral origin) that match the client's natural eyebrow color. The result is a natural and defined appearance of the eyebrows that will last for an extended period, typically between 6 months and 3 years, depending on individual factors, skin type, and the quality of the treatment.
Considerations on Skin
The first thing to consider when it comes to Microblading is the anatomy of the skin. The skin is composed of three main layers: the epidermis, the dermis, and the subcutaneous layer. During the Microblading procedure, pigment is inserted into the epidermis, the outermost layer of the skin, using a needle device that creates small incisions. These incisions are very superficial and do not cause permanent damage to the skin or unpleasant side effects as can occur with the aforementioned PMU technique.
The choice of pigment
